We are one of the oldest villages at Burning Man. Founded in 1995 with a population of just 30, we’ve grown now to our current size of about 200 and will be celebrating our thirtieth year in Black Rock City in 2025. We are home to many hard working artists, and our campers create some of the most spectacular large scale art pieces on the playa.
We estimate that the Village has produced over 400 public works of art at Burning Man including installations by The Flaming Lotus Girls, Illumination Project, Tactile Environments, Flaming Windmills and literally hundreds more.
